Claims

On discovery of any circumstance or event which may give rise to a claim, please notify us Immediately. Ring your usual contact in the General Insurance Division for advice on what action to take.

Give immediate notice to the Police in respect of loss, destruction or damage caused by thieves or malicious persons.

Carry out, or permit to be taken, any action which may prevent further loss and check any interruption to your business.

As soon as possible after discovery of the loss make good any defect or danger.

In order to get your claim settled as soon as possible please ensure:

  • You complete and return any claim form as soon as possible.
  • You let us have estimates, bills and receipts promptly.
  • Let us know of any problems with insurers or loss adjusters.
